Celebrating the Start of the Great Yorkshire Show 2026

oday marks the opening of the 167th Great Yorkshire Show, one of the UK’s most iconic agricultural and cultural events, held from Tuesday 14 July to Friday 17 July 2026 at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.

With more than 8,500 animals, cutting‑edge farming innovation, food halls, live entertainment, and celebrity appearances, the Great Yorkshire Show continues to be a highlight of the Yorkshire calendar — and we’re thrilled to be part of it again this year.

StavesArt at the Show

We’re excited to bring our full collection of hand‑drawn globes, spirals, cityscapes, stadium worlds, and fantasy illustrations to Harrogate for all four days of the event.

Visitors will be able to explore:

  • Yorkshire‑themed artwork, including Harrogate, York, Leeds, Sheffield, and more

  • Stadium worlds celebrating Yorkshire’s sporting heritage

  • Fantasy globes inspired by worlds beyond our own

  • New summer releases debuting at the show

Whether you're a proud Yorkshire local or visiting from further afield, our artwork is designed to celebrate the places people love — and the Great Yorkshire Show is the perfect setting to share that passion.

What’s Happening at the 2026 Show

This year’s programme is packed with attractions, including:

  • Daily Main Ring entertainment, headlined by the Bolddog FMX stunt team performing 35ft aerial tricks.

  • Celebrity guests across the week, including Kelvin & Liz Fletcher, Peter Wright, Jules Hudson, and Harriet Cowan.

  • Livestock competitions, including national shows for Charolais cattle and Zwartbles sheep.

  • Food Hall delights, showcasing Yorkshire’s best producers.

  • Agri‑Innovation Village, highlighting the future of farming and sustainability.

With warm weather forecast for the opening days, it’s set to be a fantastic week for exploring the showground.

You’ll find StavesArt within the main shopping and artisan exhibitor area — look out for our signature black‑and‑white artwork displays. We love meeting customers, collectors, and fellow creatives, so please come say hello!
