The Pride Park Globe - Derby County FC (2025)
Pride of Derby! The home of Derby County, Pride Park Stadium, hand drawn by Ben Staves.
Pride Park with a capacity of 33,500 has been the home of the Rams since 1997 when they moved from the Baseball Ground where they had played for over 100 years and had their most successful years under the management of Brian Clough and Peter Taylor, winning the old first division in 1971/2 and 1974/5.
Who knows, those days may yet return and be witnessed in a ground that is made for good football rather than a bucket and spade! I think it is fair to say the club are on “the up” at the moment and, long may that continue. I for one would love to see an East Midlands derby with Derby and Notts Forest in the Premiership! (yes, I know it’s not “Notts” but it winds them up!)
This wonderful picture of Pride Park, drawn by Ben Staves, would make a great present for any Derby fan to celebrate their next promotion or failing that, a birthday or Christmas!
Please note that a frame is not included. All our prints include a mountboard border and a backboard. This is sealed in a protective sleeve and delivered flat, ready to frame. International orders will be sent rolled in a poster tube without a mountboard border.
