The Wembley Stadium Globe - England Football (2025)
Wembley Stadium, the home of football! Hand drawn stadium artwork by Ben Staves
“Tell me ma, me ma, I won’t be home for tea, we’re going to Wemberley, Wemberley!!”
Having Newcastle United as our favourite football team has finally prompted Ben into drawing Wembley after years of being requested! Turns out all it took as for the Mags to win some silverware at last!
Home to Cup Finals and the National Team, Wembley Stadium, formerly known as the Empire Stadium, Wembley was opened for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924. Ok, that one has now been knocked down and a new one opened in 2007, with an incredible arch replacing the twin towers as the most famous feature of the build. With a capacity of 90,000, Wembley is currently the biggest stadium in the UK and, apart from football matches, is famous for holding the Rugby League Cup Final, pop concerts, boxing matches and even American Football.
This picture would make a fantastic present for anyone lucky enough to go and watch their favourite team lift the trophy there.
Ideal as a birthday, Christmas, or anniversary present for any mum, dad, brother, sister, Uncle or Auntie! This artwork print would look great adorning the bedroom, hallway or home office wall and, of course, not forgetting the “man cave”.
Please note that a frame is not included. All our prints include a mountboard border and a backboard. This is sealed in a protective sleeve and delivered flat, ready to frame. International orders will be sent rolled in a poster tube without a mountboard border.
All our prints are sized to fit standard sized frames. Please feel free to get in touch at info@stavesart.com if you have any questions about the artwork or framing options!
